Shrimp Scampi W/linguine
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pound Shrimp, cleaned and devined
  • 5 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/3 cup white wine
  • 1 whole lemon juiced
  • 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 pound linguine
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp of dried parsley
  • 1/8 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/8 tsp dried rosemary
  • or to your taste

DIRECTIONS
  1. Cook pasta in salted water.
  2. In a large skillet, Add the oil and saute the garlic and the crushed red pepper 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the wine and cook down, 2 minutes.
  4. Add the lemon juice, and all the seasonings and cook for 3 minutes more.
  5. When pasta is almost done add the shrimp to the pan and cook until shrimp are cooked about 5 minutes or until orange in color.
  6. Drain pasta, and place in skillet with the shrimps. reserve about 4 tbsp of the water from the pasta (just in case pasta absorbs all of the mixture).
  7. Cook for 1 minute more tossing the pasta to coat evenly.
