Raw Vegan No Oatmeal Energy Balls

  • 1/2 cup walnuts (soaked)
  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 4 medjool dates (pitted)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice or water
  • hemp hearts for coating
DIRECTIONS
  1. Blend all ingredients except for raisins in your food processor until mixture will stick together when pressed firmly.
  2. Add water if needed.
  3. Pulse in the raisins to mix well.
  4. Scoop and roll with your hands into a ball.
  5. Roll the ball in hemp hearts to coat.
  6. Store in fridge or freezer.

Energy balls are a staple in my fridge and freezer. I am always coming up with new flavor ideas. In another recipe I use walnuts and dates and honesty it tastes like brown sugar and oatmeal. That is when then I decided this combinations needs to be in a raw vegan sweet energy ball. When you make these recipes you will learn how the ingredients work together and soon you will easily come up with your favorite flavors.
