Mexican Pork Steaks

  • 4 pork steaks, 1/2-inch thick
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chunky salsa
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt, to taste
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a heavy skillet, heat oil and brown pork steaks over medium high heat, turning to brown evenly.
  2. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Pour over steaks. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes or until meat is cooked thoroughly.
