Date Balls
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 stick margarine/butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups chopped dates
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pkg coconut flakes
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix the margarine, sugar, egg and dates in a pot.
  2. Cook on low heat till you have a smooth mixture (10-15 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add Rice Krispies, nuts and vanilla to mixture. Form small balls and roll in coconut.
