Pork Steaks with Tomato and Bean Sauce

Why I Love This Recipe
This is another recipe from Low-Fat Cook book and was one of the pleasant surprises. I didn't think i would like it, however i do. it is quick and easy and naturally gluten free.
Ingredients You'll Need
4 pork steaks, about 150 g each, trimmed of fat
2 tbsp olive oil
pinch of dried herbs
salt and pepper
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves crushed
400 g can of whole peeled plum tomatoes, chopped
400 g Tin of beans, (I used butter beans)
Fresh parsley finely chopped
Preheat oven to 200c, 400f, Gas mark 6. Brush steaks with I tablespoon of the oil and sprinkle over the mixed herbs. Season well with salt and pepper. Place in baking tin and roast in oven for 15 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Meanwhile make sauce. Heat remaining oil in a frying pan over a low heat, add onions and fry for 5 minutes until soft and translucent. Add garlic and stir for a couple of seconds
Add the tomatoes, and bring to the boil. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Add beans and cook for another 10 minutes.
Season sauce, add parsley, spoon sauce onto places and place steaks on top.
