Why I Love This Recipe

Grandma Gail made these for Erin, and they became one of her favorites. I think this is courtesy of Ms. Minnie at the Yorktown I.S.D. cafeteria

Ingredients You'll Need

1 1/2 cups melted butter
2 cup granulated sugar
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 level tablespoon cinnamon
1 to 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
4 1/2 cups flour

Directions

Melt butter and let cool. Add sugars and beat. Add eggs and nuts. Stir in flour, soda, and cinnamon. Chill for several hours. Bake at 375 degrees on ungreased cookie sheets.

Questions, Comments & Reviews

Are these chilled because you slice them? Shape into balls? Drop cookie?
